About Us
Who We Are
Diamond Developments is a San Juan del Sur–based real estate development and construction company founded by Michael and Rosemarie Cooney. They specialize in transforming raw land into premium tropical communities and building modern luxury homes for those who want to live or invest in Nicaragua’s Pacific paradise.
Michael & Rosemarie have been living in San Juan Del Sur since 2011. Michael is originally from Ireland and Rosemarie is originally from Botswana. They currently reside in one of their developemtns with their 12 year old daughter.
Michaels background in engineering and project management ensures every project is executed with precision and durability, while Rosemarie brings expertise in operations, design coordination and hospitality. Together they have developed multiple residential communities and homes, combining thoughtful design, quality construction, and a deep understanding of the local market.
